The season of fall is upon us. Depending on where you are, the leaves are changing, a cool breeze fills the air, and the energy of transition surrounds us.


As we enter the final stretch of the year—just about 90 days remain—it’s more than a season of holidays; it’s a season of change.


This is the moment to shift your mindset, actions, behaviors, and purpose. Studies say it takes 21 days to create change and 90 days to make it a lifestyle. So why wait until January?


Fall in love with yourself again.
Begin the habits—physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual—that will carry you into the new year with strength and clarity.


Examples of Habits to Build Over the Next 90 Days:
Physical

  • Daily walks or morning stretches
  • Strength training 2–3x per week
  • Prioritizing whole foods and hydration
  • Better sleep hygiene (bedtime routine, phone-free wind-down)
  • Trying a new physical practice like yoga or dance


Emotional

  • Gratitude journaling (3 things each morning)
  • Practicing forgiveness—toward self or others
  • Scheduling joy (doing one thing that makes you genuinely happy weekly)
  • Speaking kindly to yourself (positive affirmations)
  • Setting healthy boundaries with time + energy


Mental

  • Reading 10–20 minutes a day
  • Reducing screen time / social media scrolling
  • Learning something new (course, hobby, language)
  • Practicing mindfulness techniques (like single-tasking)
  • Brain-dumping at night to improve clarity + sleep


Spiritual

  • Morning meditation or prayer
  • Breathing techniques: 4-7-8: inhale 4, hold 7, exhale 8, or Box breathing: inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 4, hold 4
  • Spending time in nature with no distractions
  • Journaling on deeper questions (Who am I becoming? What matters most to me?)
  • Finding purpose: volunteering, acts of service, aligning daily actions with core values


Small, intentional steps today create big transformations tomorrow.
